Christmas Markets in Barcelona
The festivities of the markets of the end of the year have begun in Barcelona.
> The Cathedral Market, the Historical Market
The Santa Llúcia Fair has been held since 1786 in Barcelona. This historic market attracts a large number of visitors every year in front of the Cathedral of Barcelona. More than 200 stalls will present crafts, but also fir trees, nurseries, decorations. Nothing is missing for a traditional Christmas.
Dates: November 29 to December 22
Hours: Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. – Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
> Port Vell Market, a new Christmas market since 2019
For the first time, Barcelona will house a Christmas market by the sea, in the statue of Christopher Columbus. In addition to the various stands, there will be lights and musical colors at the event. The illuminated trees, the floating cradle and the carousel will be full.
Dates: from December 5 to January 5
Hours: from December 5 to 8, from December 13 to 15, from December 20 to January 5 from 10 a.m. at 10 p.m. December 9 to 12, December 16 to December 19 and December 25 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

> Sagrada Familia Market
Born in the 1960s, the Sagrada Familia market is one of the must-see in Barcelona. More than one hundred stands will offer handmade products, but also gastronomy and typical decorations.
Dates: from November 23 to December 23
Hours: Monday to Friday from 10am to 9pm – Saturday, Sunday and the eve of holidays from 10am to 10pm

> The Plaça Catalunya Market
In December, Plaza Catalunya will host the 5th edition of the Fair of Responsible Consumption and Social and Solidarity Economy. Visitors will discover products, services and activities of associations or companies on this topic. No less than 60 projects will be represented, from clothing to cosmetics, food and toys.
Dates: December 20 to December 31
Hours: every day from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. – Except December 20 from 12 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. – December 24 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. – December 31 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

> The Kings Market: for families
This captive market will house more than 2oo varied stands. Much will make the little ones happy, with traditional toys and stuffed animals. The artisans will sell several products to offer original gifts, and churros stalls will also participate.

Hours: Monday to Friday and holidays from 10am to 9pm – Saturdays, Sundays and eve of holidays from 10am to 10pm
Except on January 5: from 10am to 3pm
