House price in Spain Q2 2020
The price of second-hand housing in Spain for sale has fallen from 6.1% during the second quarter of 2020, according to the idealistic portal. In annual variation, the decrease is 4.8%. with a price per square meter at 1,650 euros in Spain.
But the main buying and selling markets showed differences: in Madrid, prices fell by 0.4%, when in Barcelona they rose by 1.3%.
The biggest drop by community took place in Catalonia, where the price fell by 8%. In the Community of Madrid, the drop was 2.3% this quarter.
The Balearic Islands are still positioned as the most expensive autonomy, with 3,087 euros / m2. They are followed by Madrid (2,737 euros / m2), Euskadi (2,596 euros / m2) and Catalonia (2,092 euros / m2).
The capitals have had a less bearish behavior than the provinces: 21 of them have increased prices during the second quarter.
In Bilbao the expectations of the owners have increased by 3.2%, while in Valencia and Malaga they grew by 2.6%. Prices have also risen in Palma (1.7%), Barcelona (1.3%) to 4,163 euros / m2 and Seville (0.5%). In Madrid, on the other hand, they fell 0.4% to 3 726 euros / m2.
