Home sales in Spain April 2020

Home sales in Spain fell 71% in April 2020 with 14,459 transactions, according to the General Council of Notaries. The average price of transactions was 1,464 euros, an increase of 3.3% compared to April 2019,

New construction homes have resisted the impact of confinement with -63%, and prices + 2.5% compared to April 2019, than second-hand homes.

For spanish mortgages in April 2020 14,677 were constituted, 57% less than the previous year, but with a higher average amount of 12% with 193,093 euros.
