Barcelona the Silicon Valley in Europe

We observe that several companies of all kinds, startups and medium and large companies have chosen Barcelona to establish and expand, which is why Barcelona has become like the Silicon Valley in Europe.

One of the reasons for this phenomenon is the rental price is between 35% that of Paris and 25% of London. In 2019, Spain registered the installation of 4 110 startups, most of them within the main cities. Barcelona has about 2,000 and is still expanding.

Most of these rentals are in the 22 @ area with about 85,000 m2 rented, the most important operation has been by Everis with 25,000 m2 in Avinguda Icaria 213. The Oracle firm has rented 3,300 m2 in the Glories tower and Criteo at Almogavers 185 with 8,500 m2.
