The College of Notaries has published the real data of transactions in Spain. The purchase and sale of housing stood at 32,332 transactions in March 2020, which represents a drop of 37% in one year. The average price has dropped 2% with an average price of € 1,396 per square meter in Spain.

Mortgage loans for the purchase of a home in Spain fell 28% year-on-year in March 2020 with 18,446 new loans. with an average amount of € 136 991.

We can say that the April figures will be worse because the state of alarm was declared in the middle of March and that, as usual, most of the operations accounted for in March had been closed before confinement.
